Bes

Ai Powered Food Companian

BES is a physical productivity assistant designed to help users capture tasks through voice and receive subtle, human-like reminders. The goal is to reduce cognitive load by allowing users to speak naturally, while BES listens, understands, and reminds — all through a calm, minimalist presence. It's not just a device; it’s a quiet companion that helps people stay organized without overwhelming them. Designers: Aagam Jain Jineet Vaishnav

Concept

At its core, BES blends emotional intelligence with practical assistance. It transforms fleeting thoughts into structured actions — "remind me to..." becomes a real task. Unlike traditional screens or apps, BES lives on your desk as a subtle, helpful object. It listens when spoken to, nudges you softly, and fits into your workflow like a thoughtful friend — making productivity feel a little more human.

Scope

This project aims to build a working prototype of BES that includes voice-to-task conversion, basic reminder functionality, and a physical form with feedback through light or sound. The prototype will demonstrate core functionality using tools like Google Speech API, GPT or rule-based logic, and a microcontroller (like ESP32 or Raspberry Pi). Advanced features like emotion detection, app integration, and deep AI personalization are outside the current scope but noted for future development.
